The Department of Pediatrics at East Tennessee State University, Quillen College of Medicine, and Medical Education Assistance Corporation (MEAC) are seeking a full-time Neonatologist to join this division at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The effective start date may be as early as 03/01/2017. This is a non-tenure track position. ETSU responsibilities include teaching of medical students and pediatric residents, and academic pursuits. MEAC responsibilities include providing clinical care for a 39 bed level IIINICU, outpatient neonatal follow-up. We have approximately 650 NICU admissions per year at Niswonger Children's Hospital, with air and ground transport systems available. An active perinatology division for maternal evaluation and management is also present through the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Completion of neonatology fellowship training at time of hire is required. Applicants should be board certified in pediatrics and board certified or eligible in neonatal-perinatal medicine at the time of hire. H1B visa applicants are welcome.
