The Sr. Compensation Analyst manages the development, implementation and maintenance of compensation/classification policies and programs in partnership with HR and University leadership. The incumbent administers pay structures, analyzes, and recommends compensation and workforce planning to ensure system sustainability and effectiveness.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
Four (4) or more years' of direct compensation experience, including salary survey submissions, market data analysis, HRIS reporting, salary structure administration, FLSA classifications and position salary analysis.
Demonstrated understanding of budgeting processes with experience tracking, analyzing and assessing impact of compensation expenses to the overall sustainability of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce.
Demonstrated excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to deliver challenging messages in a positive and influential manner.
Demonstrated technical skills including: -Experience with an integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and/or Human Resource Information System (HRIS) -Advanced MS Excel proficiency to manipulate, interpret, and analyze compensation data. -Proficiency with data analysis tools -Gathering structured data from technology applications and data warehouses -Experience with large relational databases, data warehousing and data marts
