The VOR is located on 6 Mountain within CRMH and consists of three operating rooms and one Hybrid Operating Room. All patients must be age twelve years and older unless approved by the director of anesthesia.
VOR staff provides care for patients with general medical-surgical and vascular conditions. Typical vascular conditions treated are, but not limited to:
· Aortic aneurysms
· Aorta-iliac disease
· Peripheral arterial and venous disease
· Cerebrovascular accidents
· Deep vein thrombosis
· Pulmonary embolism
· Transient ischemic attacks
· Vascular trauma
· Carotid stenosis
· Vascular occlusion and obstruction
· Post operative care of vascular interventions for these conditions

Education: Graduate of school of professional nursing of an accredited college or graduate of an approved program eligible to sit for the VA licensure exam.
Experience: OR experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligible to obtain Virginia RN licensure. Obtain CPR, and as needed ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
Other: Computer skills required for electronic medical record (EPIC). Successfully complete orientation and competency requirements. Meet essential job functions.
