The Department of Biochemistry IPD has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time SOFTWARE ENGINEER with expertise in machine learning. Develop GPGPU accelerated code for specific Rosetta subroutines for protein structure prediction and design.In collaboration with researchers at the Institute for Protein Design, develop deep learning and reinforcement learning approaches for protein conformational sampling, de novo design of new proteins, protein structure refinement, and design of high affinity binding proteins.Collaborate with the Investigator and numerous researchers at the Institute for Protein Design on SOFTWARE ENGINEERing of specific Rosetta code for use in relation to GPGPU accelerated computing for conformational sampling for de novo design of new proteins, protein structure refinement, and design of high affinity binding proteins. Collaborates with other research staff, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students on de novo design of new proteins. Trains others in how to use Rosetta SOFTWARE, deep learning and protein design computing infrastructure.
