Work Schedule:The regular business hours of the University are, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Interim Director of Project Management & Assessment, the Project Management Lead will organize, manage, and oversee the projects in the Division, and act as a liaison with on- and off-campus constituents to plan, coordinate, communicate about, and support the execution of these projects from start to finish.
Current employees will be given preferred consideration.
Provide lead work direction to the Project Management Coordinators and Administrative Support Coordinators and Assistants.
Independently provide project leadership and use considerable judgment when making decisions regarding project development. The incumbent will be accountable for overall performance, execution, and outcome of projects to ensure that they are successful, and contributed to the betterment of the institution with respect to the Mission and Vision of Information Technology Services;
Incumbent will collect assessment data throughout the project's lifespan, and communicate these findings internally, externally, and with all parties associated with the project;
Analyze and address planning problems using reasoning and the interpretation and application of theories, principles, and policies, and recommend alternatives for best courses of action;
Ingenuity in determining methods to achieve programmatic goals, and develop and implement programming policies required;
Required ability to coordinate with individuals at all levels within the organization. As needed, acts as a representative to outside entities;
Act as a liaison for the ITS budget analysts to keep a close understanding of budgetary needs for projects being managed within the department and to organize and track payments to faculty;
Represent the university and division in a positive light to internal and external constituents and uses considerable judgment and discretion when applying decision-making to project challenges;
Other related job duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
A bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred in Business, Public Administration, or a closely related field.
The equivalent to four years of professional related work experience, preferably in higher education.
Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to review documents for accuracy, completeness, validity, and adherence to regulations.
Ability to read and interpret contracts.
Excellent organization and strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse team environment and possess excellent customer service skills.
Knowledge of Project Management software and systems
