Full Time; Career Starting Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 /Annually. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Involves developing, promoting and supporting the operational and strategic aspects of intercollegiate student athlete programs, including planning, scheduling, budget administration and travel.
Oversees department activities to achieve defined operational objectives. Directs staff to complete assignments using established departmental guidelines, procedures, and policies. Interacts with subordinates and functional peer managers. Has frequent external contact. Provides supervision and guidance to staff.
The Associate Athletics Director/SWA will be actively involved in decision making regarding key issues of the general operations and management of the athletics department and recreational programs as well as student programs and services including wellness center oversight and facility operations.
Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or related area with 3-5 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse client group.
Demonstrated integrity and commitment to academic excellence with a comprehensive understanding of an Athletic program's impact on the university's reputation.
Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and be creative in approaches to learning and understanding.
High degree of initiative and ability to multi-task effectively.
Must possess a valid license to drive in the State of California and be able to participate in the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) pull notice program and maintain a clean DMV record.
Selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment criminal history background check.
