Associate Dean of Division of Continuing Education
The Division of Continuing Education (DCE) is a self-supporting unit within the University of California. Funding is generated through fees collected from a diverse, complex, and ever changing student population. Leadership for this unit requires highly sophisticated knowledge of a student market that shifts depending on the course content, the economic climate, and variable student skill set gaps. Key to success is the ability of DCE's leaders to predict what students will want next along with adapting to present trends in the continuing education market. As a member of the executive management team for DCE the Associate Dean leads the efforts of all of the academic planning units and selected support units.
With the Dean and Assistant Dean, the Associate Dean is responsible for planning and directing DCE's strategic and long-range goals. Conducts organizational reviews to identify and operational opportunities for operational effectiveness. Makes decisions regarding resource allocation required to pursue this strategy. Develops appropriate control mechanisms to achieve strategic and long-term goals.

Salary: Range $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 Total Hours: 8-5, M-F Career Position. Some night and evening work might be required. Final candidate subject to background check.
