The Department of Internal Medicine Rheumatology Division is seeking an Administrative Support Associate. The successful candidate will deal effectively with health care providers, university staff and patients. He/She will compose letters and reports, edit, and proofread (i.e., curriculum vitae, faculty annual reports, teaching handouts, slide presentations, grants, manuscripts, preparation of documents for IRB approval). The selected candidate will deal pleasantly and effectively with university administrators, faculty, staff and general public. The candidate will handle scheduling/ coordination of meetings, appointments for numerous physicians.

Organizational Unit Overview:
The rheumatology service has a long history of care to adult and pediatric patients. A specialist clinic addresses varying forms of arthritis, musculoskeletal syndromes, orthopedic disorders, autoimmune conditions and other types of rheumatological problems. Fine needle aspiration of synovial fluid and muscle biopsies are performed on site to assist in definite diagnoses when needed.
