We are looking for a Program Manager to become a part of our growing and thriving new team.The ideal candidate we are seeking must have both experience and an abiding interest in Technology in the Higher Education space. The Program Manager will be highly motivated, eager to learn and have experience in managing complex projects under minimum supervision. The PM will be required to coordinate department course creation efforts and have a proactive, positive attitude towards creating new Technology courses of the future in Blockchain Technologies, Software product management, AI, VR, Machine Learning, Game Design and Development, Drone building and Robotics. The Program Manager will develop and maintain relations with IT professionals, IT associations, and community members. Develops advisory committees comprised of appropriate industry and academic leaders. Under the general direction of the Director of Technology Programs, the Program Manager is responsible for developing, planning, managing, and implementing online and on campus non-degree certificate programs technology programs. Incumbent is also responsible for preparing quarterly schedules, developing proposals, counseling students, hiring instructors, and maintaining overall quality of course offerings while meeting annual financial targets.Must work with DCE Student Services to provide current information on certificate programs and coordinating room assignment. Works with Director and Marketing Department to ensure appropriate marketing for IT courses. Responsible for determining course cancellation and offerings. Manages relationships with instructors and responsible for evaluating instructor teaching. Manages internal relations with a variety of DCE and campus departments, and outside vendors to insure that all instructional materials are delivered in a timely and standardized fashion and that all instructional equipment is available.
