Harris-Stowe State University is a historically Black institution (HBCU) located in the heart of vibrant mid-town St. Louis, Missouri. The Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Harris-Stowe State University is creating a pool of potential adjunct instructors to teach statistics and data analysis. Appointments are for immediate and upcoming semesters. The successful candidate must possess a Doctorate or a Master’s Degree in Statistics or Biostatistics or significant experience with statistics and/or data analysis methodology along with a Doctorate or Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Political Science, Sociology, Education or a similar field which extensively uses statistical methodology from an accredited university. Statistics classes at Harris-Stowe are expected to integrate the R statistical programming language into the process of instruction.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
