Pay Range: $42,064 per year or higher depending on education and experience

Position Summary: Reporting to the Lead Advisor (Retention) and working with University Advising Services leadership, the VandalStar Coordinator champions, builds networks, facilitates, and supports the implementation of the VandalStar campus-wide student success/retention support software (Hobson's Starfish).
The VandalStar Coordinator coordinates and supports daily system operations, maintenance, implementation and design of tools, internal and external marketing and communication planning, and training for VandalStar.
Bachelors degree with two (2) years of relevant experience. Experience in project management. Experience in data gathering and analysis.
Masters degree. Experience with Hobsons Starfish or a similar enterprise student success and retention solution. Experience working in a higher education environment. Experience with web page development and maintenance. Experience utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Experience in successfully communicating verbally and in writing. Knowledge of University of Idaho academic rules, regulations, and procedures for undergraduate level advising. Ability to work cooperatively as a team with a variety of people, including students, staff, faculty, and administrators.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions: Ability to lift or otherwise move up to 30 pounds. Willingness to travel and to work selected evenings and weekends.
