The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics at Eastern Washington University's College of Business & Public Administration is currently seeking to fill one Lecturer position to start Fall 2019.
The primary responsibility will be to teach lower division and upper division Decision Science and Business Analytics courses. Typical workload for this position will involve 45 credits per academic year, subject to department needs. Faculty offices may be located on either Eastern's Riverpoint campus, adjacent to downtown Spokane in the University District, or on the Cheney campus, but all faculty are expected to teach at both locations.
Applications will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to student learning. Applicants with Master degree only should have documented, sustained professional experience in the field of Business/Data Analytics or related fields. Applicants must have excellent communication skills. Active scholarship and/or professional service are desired and supported. Annual teaching load will be determined each year in accordance with university policies and the needs of the department.

The College is located on Eastern's Riverpoint Campus in Spokane, and maintains an administrative presence in Cheney, a residential suburb and the location of EWU's residential campus. The business program is accredited by AACSB. Cheney and Spokane are 17 miles apart.

Master's degree or Research Doctorate (ABD included) in Data Analytics, or Decision Science, or Business Analytics, or related fields from an accredited institution.

At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in Data Analytics, or Decision Science, or Business Analytics, or related fields, is required

The candidate must meet at least one of the following requirements:
At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in Data Analytics, or Decision Science, or Business Analytics, or related fields, OR
Obtained the doctorate degree recently (within the last 3 years), OR
Have 2 to 3 peer-reviewed journal publications in quality outlets within the last 5 years.
