Description The primary responsibility of eTextProduction is editing electronic text files. This includes reviewing scanned files page by page, correcting scanning and formatting errors, file managements, and preparing course materials for conversion to alternative format. Work is highly detailed-orientated and must meet stringent quality standards.eText staff often work alone with limited supervision. Position hours are flexible, determined each quarter based on student and eText station availability.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT The Disability Resource Center (DRC) is dedicated to service excellence in the provision of comprehensive and flexible accommodation plans which contribute to the successful academic endeavors of qualified students who have disabilities. The DRC works in innovative ways to provide teaching and learning opportunities to college employees and community partners which further the understanding and success of the students we serve. The DRC nurtures and coaches its students in skills necessary to achieve success academically and in promoting essential life skills which will integrate students who have disabilities into the overall pluralistic fabric of the community.
Ability to pay attention to detail Effective communication skill including reading and writing Proficient in Microsoft office, such as Word, Excel,Outlook Ability to develop working knowledge of image scanning process and basic trouble shooting skills in new software. Proficiency in Math and Science terminology is desirable
