Employment Status: Full-time, Probationary "non-exempt" position
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some evenings and weekend hours may be required.

Under direct supervision of Assistant Vice President, Admissions, Outreach & Transition, Administrative Support Assistants I provide clerical support to the Processing Unit within the Office of Admissions and Outreach. Typically responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Incumbents may perform clerical functions for the Admissions department D
Provide data management duties including scanning, indexing and entering of transcript information with accuracy and speed.
The incumbent will assist with scanning, indexing and maintain student records within imaging software OnBase.
Answer telephones, corresponding with students through email and direct face-to-face communication
Incumbent will assist with department special events such as Soar, Counselors Day, and other campus events as needed.
Incumbent will performing other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent AND one (1) year of experience performing general office clerical/administrative work.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
If typing/keystroke skill is required, a keystroke speed of 50 C.W.P.M. is necessary.
Must possess the equivalent to one year of experience in general office clerical work, along with a general knowledge of office methods, procedures and practices, and a working knowledge of correct English, grammar, spelling and punctuation.
Fundamental writing skills to effectively communicate standard information.
Ability to use standard office equipment, along with the ability to use standard word processing and related computer software packages.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic functions, along with the ability to respond to basic routine inquiries and explain standard policies and procedures to others.
Ability to work cooperatively with a diverse campus community.
