The incumbent plans, coordinates, oversees and manages the campus work control center, including oversight of all work orders and activities related to the efficient day-to-day operation of the work control center.
Specific duties include: supervise two full-time Work Controllers and student staff when necessary; act as primary customer service representative in Facilities Management Work Control center; supervise and train personnel in the operation of the automated work control system; communicate with unit supervisors to determine status of work; monitor progress and update automated work management system; compile reports; run automated processes to produce billing reports and generate transactional data to initiate fund transfer for reimbursable work orders; maintain key control database; review and approve campus customer key requests; distribute keys to campus customers; assist with management of housekeeping, elevator, uniforms, walk off mats and radios contracts; and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and one year (two preferred) office management experience, preferably in the maintenance field. Must have: administrative and work prioritization experience; strong interpersonal, problem solving and customer service skills; strong computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel); and experience supervising a diverse team in an office environment amid changing priorities and deadlines.
