The School of Statistics in the College of Liberal Arts invites applications for two full-time, tenure-track positions to begin fall semester 2018. Appointments will be 100% time over the nine-month academic year (late-August to late-May). Appointments will be at the rank of tenure-track assistant professor, depending on qualifications and experience and consistent with collegiate and University policy.
Faculty in the School of Statistics in the College of Liberal Arts are expected to maintain an active research program in statistics, develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses, advise undergraduate and graduate students, and contribute service appropriate for the rank of the appointment to the department, college, University, and profession.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Statistics or a closely related field is required by start date of the appointment.
Preferred Qualifications: College/university-level teaching experience is preferred. Candidates will be evaluated according to the overall quality of their academic preparation and scholarly work, evidence of research ability, evidence of commitment to teaching and skills as a teacher, and strength of recommendations.
