Maintains PeopleSoft Campus, Finance, and Human Resources applications. Design and develop new enhancements and features for PeopleSoft products using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, and PL/SQL. Provide production support for PeopleSoft systems. Assist functional staff in evaluating PeopleSoft features and configurations.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain administrative applications.
Provide database systems support, triaging support tickets, security support, trouble-shooting issues, and promptly communicating with customers.
Write interfaces between PeopleSoft and external vendor products.
Participate in peer code reviews, testing, and other well-defined development procedures.
Contribute to and produce technical documentation as assigned.
Assist functional staff in evaluating and researching configuration and delivered functionality to determine best fit for business process needs (business process analysis).
Design tables, pages, processes in coordination with functional requirements.
Learn and apply the process for estimating work effort for development tasks.
Adhere to development standards documented by the senior developers.
Understand available integration technologies.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and security.
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree plus 3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of related education and experience
Knowledge of database design and architecture
Knowledge or awareness of Waterfall, Agile, and Kanban project management methodologies
Thorough understanding of the development lifecycle and procedures
