The Office of Student Engagement at Loyola University Maryland is seeking an Assistant Director. The Assistant Director is responsible for developing programs to assist students with identity and leadership development, social decision making, discernment and reflection, and transition throughout the first-year/new student experience and sophomore year. This position will also collaborate with various campus departments to address the developmental needs of students in transition, deepen students' understanding of the principles of a Jesuit education, and promote development of ethical/civic minded leaders and community members.
Master's degree in Higher Education, Counseling, or related field as well as one to three years of related work experience is required. Qualified candidate must possess strong program planning, organizational, and communication skills; ability to engage and motivate students, commitment to diversity, and a willingness to promote core Jesuit Educational Values.
